The Project
Hammerton Brewery approached RDS 360 for help with the layout and design of both their brewery and their pub, House of Hammerton. Working closely with the owners, our team carried out measured surveys of the premises before moving into the design process, producing mood boards, sketches, and visuals while exploring the best operational use of space.
A key part of the brief was to create sightlines into the production areas, adding to the experience for visitors to the tap room, while also designing a kitchen that could either be managed in-house or rented out to food operators. Balancing the practical needs of a working brewery with a welcoming, social atmosphere required close collaboration and careful planning at every stage.
The brewery is now thriving and enjoyed by the people of Islington and beyond, who come to sample a Peanut Butter Stout, Pale Ale, or Pilsner alongside pizza and Peruvian street food.

Client Feedback
We engaged RDS 360 to undertake a full measured survey and design of our premises for a micro brewery and high street pub. From the outset the team were very professional, guiding us through the process from mood boards and feasibility layouts to visuals and detailed design packs. Nothing was too much trouble; they were considerate to our asks and ideas but brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table that really helped us to see what was possible. We were very impressed with the whole process and the team, and we now have a venue that the public love to visit and spend hours socialising in.
