The Project
RDS 360 supported UCB Pharma by delivering a comprehensive Scan-to-BIM solution across their operational site in Windlesham, Surrey, comprising multiple buildings with varying construction types and levels of technical complexity.
Our survey team carried out high-accuracy laser scanning of the entire site, capturing both the architectural fabric and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (M&E) systems throughout. The point cloud data was then processed and developed into coordinated BIM models to LOD 300 and LOD 400 standards, providing a level of technical detail suitable for design development, coordination, and future project planning.
In addition to the BIM deliverables, RDS 360 produced 3D visuals to support spatial understanding and stakeholder communication. The final existing BIM models were issued to UCB Pharma as a reliable digital baseline, enabling future feasibility studies and design proposals to be carried out with confidence and consistency.
